The Ealing Tweetup - started in 2009 by former resident Mark Hillary - is now a firm fixture in the local calendar.

It's basically a chance to see if the people you converse with on the social media platform of twitter are actually real.

As well as the regulars, who are real (and yes, I am one!) there are always a few new faces and the event is hugely popular.

Local businesses have supported the tweetup in the past and include the Rose and Crown, The Ealing Park Tavern, The Forester, The Grosvenor and The Red Lion.

On Tuesday night, Limeyard provided excellent food and drink and a wonderful convivial atmosphere encouraging much chat and lots of fun.
