TVU Students Show Off Their Talents

Arts students end of year show

The Faculty of the Arts at Thames Valley University (TVU) will hold its annual Summer Showcase of student talent on Wednesday 17 and Thursday 18 June at the Ealing campus on St Mary's Road.

It's open to the public and free of charge and celebrates students' work in dance, music, fashion, art and media.

Visitors will be able to tour an exhibition of student work from 10am to 9pm on both days and there are also free live performances from 6pm, including a piano recital, a fashion show film and a soul band, trumpet trio and jazz quartet.

There will also be live music in the Student Union bar from a host of up and coming bands from 4pm to 9pm each day.

Advice and information about full-time and part-time arts courses will also be available to visitors who are interested in learning a new skill, furthering their existing knowledge, or a change of career.

There will be exciting workshops during both days for students from local schools and colleges who will be able to try their hand at skills such as digital retouching, radio production, fashion, advertising, piano and dance.
