Walk or Run a Mile For Sports Relief
Hoping to top the £13,000 raised from last year's event in Hanwell
The Bunny Park in Hanwell is set to host its fifth Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile on Sunday 20th March, and you can join in or help volunteer.
Ealing walkers and runners can help make a difference to people living across the UK and the world’s poorest communities by raising.
Setting off from the Bandstand in the Bunny Park, the Ealing Mile will take in the sights of Hanwell including the Wharncliffe Viaduct and the Brent Lodge Animal Centre.
Father and son team Ben and Paul Farmer are organising the event - you can enter here.
Ben Farmer, 17 said: “It’s the fifth time we’ve organised this event and we’re hoping to beat the £13,000 total raised in 2014 but we need your help!”
Paul Farmer added, “From little ones with their mums and dads, to runners up against the clock there’s something for everyone to make themselves feel proud on this special day.”
Volunteers are also needed to help out on the day - sign up here
It all kicks off from 11.30am with running waves starting at 12 noon, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm.
