The West Ealing Sound Bite Music and Food Festival in Dean Gardens will be an innovative event drawing on both the local heritage and the modern diversity of contemporary West London. Thanks to the support of Affinity Sutton, Pathways Trust and other sponsors, the SoundBite Festival will showcase West Ealing’s strength in both food and music.

Building on the success of the past three West Ealing Family Days, we are fulfilling our ambition to extend the festival into Dean Gardens in the heart of West Ealing.

A Focus on Food
West Ealing has a weekly farmers’ market, a great variety of local and ethic food shops, and a multicultural and diverse offering of restaurants and cafes. It also has a number of food-related projects such as WEN Abundance, Cultivate London and Edible. The Festival will put § West Ealing on the map as a favoured destination for food shopping and eating out.

An “Eclectic” Music Mix surrounded by Music Heritage of Global Significance
The use of Dean Gardens presents us with the wonderful opportunity to increase the profile of our live music on a big stage. Ealing has a proud musical history and has been celebrating the beginnings of a scene that launched The Rolling Stones, The Who and global brands such as Marshall Amplification.

Dean Gardens will provide an opportunity to experience musical influences from across the globe brought to the Uxbridge Road by established performers and local songwriters. Music will include the raucous sounds of Tankus The Henge and The Bollywood Brass Band as well as the Columbian Salsa group of Dorance Lorza, who pleased West Ealing family day crowds in 2012.

Ramon Goose, TJ. Johnson and The Chairs and many others will ensure a high quality festival atmosphere to accompany all the other events throughout the day.

The Ealing Club Community Interest Company and W7 Edge are proud to help support this new opportunity for LIVE MUSIC: (http://www.ealing-club.com/west-ealing-soundbite-festival).
