Despite the lack of cinema in Ealing, the volunteer run Classic Cinema Club (CCC) has managed to keep film buffs happy over the last few years with regular viewings of some excellent films at the Town Hall.

This Friday (April 1st - no joke!) CCC are on location ..but don't worry, it's not too far away and it's for a bit of a 'special'.

For one night only, CCC will be hosting that cult classic from 1975 - The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Who doesn't know The Rocky Horror Picture Show? Well if you don't, now's the time to catch up!

Be sure to get into the spirit; dust off your stockings, basques and boas, get your makeup and heels on and make sure you are ready to do the Timewarp again...

Expect Ealing to be a rather colourful and lively place on Friday night!

(Be sure to send in your pictures)

The Rocky Horror Picture Show
1975
100 minutes
Directed by Jim Sharman
Starring Tim Curry, Richard O’Brien, Susan Sarandon,
Barry Bostwick, Meat Loaf

A newly-engaged couple find themselves stranded during a dark and stormy night, and seek shelter in a gothic castle, inhabited by mad scientist Dr. Frank-N-Furter and his queer coterie of servants with fabulous fashion. The young and innocent lovebirds are soon stripped of their strait-laced sensibility as they get seduced by the kinky sexuality and rock and roll mores of the mansion.
This musical comedy lovingly spoofs sci-fi and horror B-movies, and soon became a cult classic that continues to have a fan following thanks to its enjoyable exuberance and irresistible song and dance numbers like The Time Warp and Sweet Transvestite.

Showing at QUESTORS THEATRE, 12 Mattock Lane, W5 5BQ
