An explosion of creative talent is promised with three plays being staged In July, The Questors will host its inaugural Festival of New Theatre – featuring creative talent for audiences, writers and theatre-makers, and the local community. The Festival will include three brand new full-length plays, plus a sprinkling of short plays, chosen from hundreds of script submissions. The Questors has curated a programme of what it considers to be the most exciting new works, from a diverse pool of writers across UK & Ireland. As well as championing new writers, this festival includes work from new directors, partially-devised work, plus collaborative projects with the Questors Young People Theatre and improvisation from the Questors House team, The Slack Captains. There will be panels and workshops where you can find out more about the ideas and processes behind the plays, contribute to the development of new plays and pick up some tips for your own writing.
