Find out more about the fascinating history of our area explored in the book, An American President in Ealing: The John Quincy Adams Diaries 1815–1817, in a FREE talk on Thursday 14 May at Paperback Cafe, 153 South Ealing Road (corner with Popes Lane).

The talk will cover the story of John Quincy Adams's life in Ealing 200 years ago and the light it sheds on life and society in our area at that time. It will start at 6.30 pm and last about an hour.

Copies of the fully illustrated book will be available to buy for £10.00. Paperback’s coffee and snacks will be available to buy too. Space is limited, so come early to be sure of a seat.
