Open Ealing are running classes for 8 to 14 year olds over the summer.

On Saturday 29 July & 5 August Lauri O'Garro shares her knowledge of this old craft created to make mathematical concepts accessible to children with the result of making curved stitching pictures, or if geometry is your bag, then something a little more linear. She is running two 2-hour sessions at Orchard Cafe.

During August they are celebrating Our Wonderful World with a series of workshops aimed at 8 – 14 year olds covering a range of artistic mediums.

Starting from Monday 7 August Open Ealing are working with tutors who are all specialists in their field participants will be encouraged to create a body of work that is impressive in both scope and quality. This year they are doing pottery, collage, creating life along a river, making 3D sculptures, working with textiles and making a stop motion animation.
