Northolt Leisure Centre, operated by Everyone Active in partnership with Ealing Council, is throwing open its doors on Saturday 1st February in a bid to help families get active. The centre is hosting a day of free family fitness, fun and prizes from 10:00-16:00 and is encouraging the whole family to test their agility and coordination in a bid to win a trip to Disneyland Paris in the Big Family Challenge.

The Big Family Challenge day will include free Everyone Active School of Dance classes, swimming lessons, sport taster sessions, bouncy castle and organised games and challenges in the gym.

To encourage everyone to get involved, Everyone Active have teamed up with children’s activity specialists Fit for Sport to create The ‘Big Family Challenge’.

The ‘Big Family Challenge’ will involve three very simple activities designed to test your family’s co-ordination, agility and stamina. From throwing and catching to jogging and star jumps, the challenge is suitable for all abilities so the whole family can take part, whatever age.

The highest scoring family will be in line to win a once in a lifetime trip to Disneyland Paris and every family who takes part, whatever their score, will be entered into a draw to win a host of free activity courses offered at the centres.

“We are looking forward to welcoming both members and non-members to the centre to try their hand at some of the activities on offer,” says Duncan Jefford, Regional Director for Everyone Active. “It’s that time of year when people are looking to dust off the cobwebs and beat the winter blues so why not come along and enjoy some free family fun. It’s set to be a fantastic event for all with some great prizes to be won.”

There is no need to book in advance and no membership is required: simply turn up on the day and play. For more information, visit
