Fancy getting out for a drink and finally putting a face to those names you see on social media platform twitter?

Well now you can.

#EalingHour is a weekly Twitter event where businesses, churches, charities, politicians, journalists and interested residents tweet about all things Ealing.  The #EalingHour hashtag allows anyone with a Twitter account to connect and start a conversation.

#EalingHour started on March 20th, 2014 when Amy Calver of Clarence and Alabama Vintage Inspired Dresses (@clarence_alabam) and Carlene Bender of Contact Us Ealing Magazine (@ContactusEaling) suggested that Northfields Estate Agents (@Northfieldslive) should host the weekly twitter event.

The event was immediately a success with the #EalingHour hashtag reaching 157,316 people within the space of its first few days.

Over the months, businesses have been finding new customers and connections, charities have found volunteers and support, local events have been widely publicised, advice has been swapped freely and we’ve managed to fit in a few laughs along the way.

Now Northfields as the hosts of #EalingHour would like to help their fellow Tweeters to meet in person at a “Tweetup” on Tuesday, September 9th, 7-9pm.  The Tweetup will be held at Northfields Estates’ Northfield Avenue office at 130-132 Northfield Avenue, Ealing, W13 9RT.

Northfields will be providing nibbles and drinks.

As the event will take place during the usual #EalingHour time slot, Tweeters can bring their smartphones or tablets to live-tweet the event using the wifi connection at Northfields Estates.

If you are an Ealing based tweeter, feel free to come along but make sure to RSVP by emailing Colleen at Northfields (link: colleen.babcock@northfields.co.uk )
