Wheelie bins

I am sure many will have questions and comments about the new wheelie bin service.

Whilst some people have supported the idea of the new service, many more have not. Responding to public opinion, we organised the petition last year, which was signed by 7,000 Ealing residents, saying they did not want wheelie bins.  Hence we voted and campaigned against them.

However the service is here now and we are supporting residents to try and get the system to work.  Over the past few weeks, as Northfield Councillors, we have acted on behalf of scores of local residents to ensure they received the right bin or even a bin at all.

Blondin Park – new plantings, new railings and the application for Green Flag status; plus proposal from Ealing Eagles Running Club

Local shopping parades – new traders’ initiative; and improvements at Little Ealing
