The Lady’s Creative Centre, is celebrating their 13th International Creative Day event this Saturday (29 June) on Haven Green opposite Ealing Broadway Station from 1pm – 6pm.

The event will be attended by the Mayor of Ealing, Rupa Huq MP, Steve Pound MP and other distinguished guests, including a representative of the Work and Pensions ministry.

By attending you may also benefit from discounted prices for using local restaurants around Haven Green.

This annual event was initiated by Nousha Pakpour Samari BEM, founder of LCC. She has been active in the community in Ealing borough for decades and her service was recognised through a BEM award from Her Majesty the Queen. Nousha also runs the Doll House Museum, Ealing that attracts both tourists and local families who also participate in activities held regularly.

She says, “The main theme of the 13th International Creative Day event is to share skills and experience of creativity. It provides a platform for the community and participants to draw upon each other’s talents and vision of their creative projects and ambitions.

“It provides an environment of cohesion and unity of different races and cultures, helps develop understanding of their beliefs, background, skills and values of each other which ultimately leads to collaboration and building of strong bonds in society.”

There will be a chance to enjoy artistic performances and shop around from a variety of twenty or so stalls and you can enter a hat competition.

Free tickets can be obtained online.
