Comedian Hal Cruttenden (‘Live at the Apollo’, ‘Have I Got News For You’.’Would I Lie To You’ and twice a performer at the 'Royal Variety Performance') is returning to his roots in a special show at the Questors Theatre (Mattock Lane) on Sunday 18 March.

Cruttenden joins current Ealing resident Shappi Khorsandi ('8 Out Of 10 Cats', 'Have I Got News For You', 'QI', 'Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow', 'I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here') and motormouth comedian Patrick Monahan (winner of ITV1's 'Show me the Funny') for '#JC4PM', which will bring together Labour supporters and members in west London before the local election campaign begins in earnest.

Cruttenden was brought up in Ealing and was keen to get involved, 'I grew up round the corner and it was the first place I ever went onstage. My dad was a big figure there and my mum started her stage/TV/film make up business in the dressing rooms.'

The last time that the Labour Party put on a comedy show at Questors, two years ago, tickets sold out in advance and the bar takings from the theatre were rumoured to be their highest recorded.

Also appearing on the night are Rupa Huq MP and Matt Wrack, General Secretary of the Fire Brigades Union.

Tickets, costing £15/£12 (concessions) are available from the Questors website.
