Hanwell Community Centre will open its doors on Saturday, 13 August for a Fun Day for all the family.

Family Fun Day at Hanwell Community Centre

Once a Victorian school, Hanwell Community Centre has a fascinating history and in 1896 became the home to a six-year-old Charlie Chaplin. Those interested will have the opportunity to tour this unique building.

Residents looking for a new hobby, activity or sports group to get involved in will be able to sign up on the day.

Councillor Ranjit Dheer, Deputy leader and cabinet member for community services and safety said: “The Hanwell Community Centre fun day really is one of the highlights in Ealing’s summer festivals and family days out calendar. This popular and well attended event really does provide a great free day out for everyone to enjoy.”

The Fun Day will run from 11am to 4pm. Hanwell Community Centre is located on Westcott Crescent, Hanwell, W7 1PD.
