Eat Me Drink Me team launches new market

A new monthly food market will take place later this month in front of Ealing Town Hall with lots of well known, local shops taking part.

Renowned butchers Hook & Cleaver will bring the best of their Ealing stores, while Pitshanger favourite Charlie’s Fruit Bowl and Northfields florist Mags Petite Fleur will brighten up any afternoon with colourful fruit, veg & plants.

Flavours of Spain – a regular on London’s gourmet market scene and award winning importer of the finest Spanish cheeses, meats, honey and more – will also take part. Monkshood Coffee (a favourite at Food Truck Friday) will move their caffeinated capers kerb-side with barista coffees and speciality teas. There'll be cakes, artisan bread and other fresh produce on offer too.

Mama’s Jerk Station, with their delicious range of Caribbean dishes will trade alongside Mexican street food from Margo & Rita as well as West London’s Ruperts Street (vegan), Guasacaca (Venezuelan arepas – one of the hottest street food trends) & Churros Garcia.

Eat Me Drink Me Sundays, starts Sunday 22nd March outside Ealing Town Hall 10am-3pm, then 3rd Sunday of each month from April.

 More traders are to be announced and all dietary requirements will be catered for including Halal, vegan & gluten free.

Eat Me Drink Me is headed up by Ealing resident, Kate McKenzie:

“We wanted to create a weekend market that works closely with local businesses. The amazing response to Food Truck Friday has shown us that this is what people are looking for. Eat Me Drink Me Sundays will be the perfect place for a family day out or to meet friends. You can buy your Sunday roast to cook at home, pick up your groceries for the week or just grab a bite to eat with friends.”
