Town centre exhibition until 21st June

The Old Fire Station at Dickens Yard is showcasing a range of art works created by local artists. The free exhibition will run from 8 to 21 June 2015.

The exhibition features art pieces including paintings, ceramics, mosaics, craft works and botanical art, created by over 20 local amateur and professional artists.

Penny Duszynski from the Ealing Art Group said: “There are many talented artists living in Ealing and we are thrilled to be able to feature their work in such a beautiful old building, right in the heart of the town centre.

“It is the 100th exhibition year of Ealing Arts Group and very significant for us. We are extremely grateful to the team at St George for giving us the opportunity of exhibiting at the Old Fire Station in Ealing.”

Ian Dobie, Managing Director of St George West London said: “The Old Fire Station at Dickens Yard is a charming arts and crafts heritage building. We are delighted to open it up to the community for this free art exhibition which promotes the work of local artists.”

The art exhibition will run for two weeks between Monday 8 June and Sunday 21 June at The Old Fire Station 4 Longfield Avenue, Ealing, W5 2UQ; 11am – 6pm Saturday to Thursday and 11am – 8pm on Friday.

St George was granted planning permission for Dickens Yard in 2009. The mixed-use development in Ealing Broadway will deliver 698 homes, 151 of which are affordable, 104,000 sq ft of commercial space and over an acre of landscaped public realm. To date, 320 homes have been delivered, 81 of which are affordable.

The free exhibition runs until 21 June 2015.
