Amongst the thousands of (other!) runners taking part in the Ealing Half Marathon on Sunday (29th September) is Hanwell Labour Councillor, Ray Wall who is raising funds for the new foodbank in Ealing.

Councillor Wall, who is the Labour Councillor for Hobbayne Ward said:

“Ealing foodbank is a very worthy cause and is providing a vital service for people who are struggling to make ends meet at the moment.

I’m hoping that my run will help to raise the profile of the food bank and encourage lots of people to donate to support this important project”.

Councillor Wall has also helped the foodbank organisers by negotiating affordable storage facilities for them at Hanwell Community Centre.
