Youngsters tried try their hand at pumpkin carving during a Halloween workshop at Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre last weekend.

Children who took part in the free workshop outside Tesco in the Centre on Sunday were allowed to keep their creepy creations. They drew scary faces on the pumpkins which were then carved by shopping centre staff.

Among those to take part were Luciano Cusack, eight, Michael Rogers, nine, and Siobhan Rogers, 7.

Centre Manager Elizabeth Bell said: “The event certainly got everyone in the Halloween mood and we were impressed by some of the excellent ‘spook-tacular’ creations.”
