Tickets for two great comedy shows at the Drayton go on sale Friday 16th July - but you could win yourself a pair - see in the side box for details.

Tom Binns as Ivan Brackenbury in the acclaimed and hilarious Hospital Radio Roadshow comes to West Ealing next Friday (July 23), followed on the 30th by the unstoppable Simon Brodkin as Lee Nelson, fresh from his hit new BBC3 TV show. Tickets for both can be purchased from wegottickets.com.

Binns’ first television appearances were in Knowing Me Knowing Yule with Alan Partridge, and Friday Night Armistice and Fist of Fun. More recently he’s been in Spooks and the IT Crowd, while the award winning Brodkin had long been a regular on Al Murray’s various TV shows before landing his own - Lee Nelson’s Well Good show.

In 2007 Binns was nominated for the prestigious If.comedy award and in 2010 was nominated for the Best Established Comedian at the Adelaide Fringe. He also wrote and starred in a The Ivan Brackenbury Show on BBC Radio 2.

One of the sketches Binns wrote for Trigger Happy TV made it into both the BBC and Channel 4 polls for best comedy moment and in 2002 readers of More Magazine voted him the 25th sexiest man in the world.

He is still touring as Ivan Brackenbury while working on new character “actually psychic” Ian D Montfort. See them both at the Drayton next week.

Simon Brodkin is one of the country's most exciting comedians, with a huge talent for creating and portraying an array of instantly recognisable and hilarious characters.
He performed his first solo show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2006. This sold out every night, and won the Writer's Guild Award for Best Newcomer.
