Cupcakes decorated with books accompanied the latest book sale held in aid of The Tom Clabburn Memorial Fund in aid of the charity, Cardiac Risk in the Young.

More than £830 was raised at the sale which was organised by Tom's mum Claire Prosser and held at the BBC's offices in White City where she used to work.

Ealing schoolboy Tom died aged 14 of an undiagnosed heart problem in 2007. All the money raised goes to fund heart screenings for young people in West London.

Claire said: "I couldn't have done it without all the books and cakes supplied by so many friends and former colleagues.
