The St Barnabas Chopin Piano Festival will take place on Saturday May 11th and Sunday May 12th 2013 at St Barnabas Church Pitshanger Lane, Ealing, with afternoon sessions from 2.30-6.00 pm and evening sessions from 7.00-10.00 pm on each day.

We have 21 distinguished pianists giving short recitals of 20 - 30 minutes, including virtually all the famous Chopin works, and comprising almost 10 hours of immortal piano music.

We have a beautiful Bösendorfer concert grand, previously used for broadcasts by the BBC, and the piano will be placed in the middle of the church, so that everyone is reasonably close.

We have a ‘big screen’ so all the audience can see the pianists, as shown in the photograph. Admission is £12 per session, with half price for young people under 16. No tickets will be issued beforehand – just turn up on the day.

The church is large and admission is guaranteed. Free parking is available in nearby residential streets. There are regular breaks for refreshments, and tea and supper will be available.
