Brentham Bowls Club, 38a Meadvale Road W5, www.brenthamclub.co.uk , opens on Friday 25 April for the coming bowls season.
The first match on Sunday 27 April is the traditional match of the Men v Ladies. The green is freely available to members and new members starting this year will see a special introductory reduction in membership fees. But you are not just joining a Bowls Club, there are other events and activities too such as darts, bridge, tennis, football, cricket and snooker during the year. The bar has Sky and BT Sport on the HD large-screen.
The Friday morning Club, open to non-members who are over 55, are invited to come every Friday morning, starting on the 2 May for 2 hours of bowls starting at 10 am at a cost of £2 a session.
All welcome to try a game of bowls on Bank Holiday Monday, May 5 between 2 and 5 pm. We have the woods. All you need to bring are flat-soled shoes.
