Award winning Ealing theatre group the Beaufort Players present The Memory of Water, a black comedy by Shelagh Stephenson.

On the eve of their mother’s funeral, three sisters are reunited: a neurotic, an intellectual and wayward free-spirit. As experiences are shared, so too are childhood grievances – revealing the distortion of memory as well as some painful family secrets.

Winner of the ‘Laurence Olivier Award for Best Comedy’ (2000), The Memory of Water has been described as offering “a superb mix of wild humour and bruising emotion”- The Guardian. (Please note: this play contains strong language)
