You can always rely on an evening at the comedy club at Viaduct. And this Friday (7 October) will be extra good as Hanwell’s very own stand up, Grace Bugler, will be performing.

We met up at the Clocktower for a coffee …..

A degree in politics, then a fair bit travel under her belt, Grace chose to enter the world of fashion as the day job but having seen live comedy at a venue where her mum works in Chiswick, it wasn't long before she ‘gave in’ and has been honing her comedy skills.

She went to the rather posh-sounding Ellen Wilkinson School for Girls in Acton (or should that be ‘north Chiswick’)? But she loves Hanwell and we were able to have a good gossip about – well what’s been going on pre and post pandemic and stuff.

Grace will be on at the Viaduct with a line up including Jeff Innocent – who’s also always a good watch.

I’ve assured Grace that we’re a very nice audience.

So no heckling!

Viv Ellis

The Viaduct is at 221 Uxbridge Road (W7 3TD).

Tickets for Bearcat Comedy at the Viaduct are £15 plus booking fee.

The previous night (6 October) there is also comedy at the Ealing Project with Sarah Callaghan, Stefano Paolini and Greenford’s own Nathan Caton with Cally Beaton compering. Tickets are £15 plus booking fee.
