The second St Barnabas Organ Festival will take place on Sunday October 6th in the afternoon (2-6 pm) and evening (7-10 pm), to celebrate our magnificent new organ, which is one of the finest in London.

The organ cost £400,000 and is a wonderful asset to music in Ealing, with a stunning range of beautiful and majestic sounds. We have nine musicians, led by the eminent organist Martin Neary (ex-Organist of Westminster Abbey) giving recitals of about 30 minutes, including many of the most famous organ works.

We will have our ‘big screen’ projection system, so that everyone can watch the organists playing, as well as hearing them.

There will be regular breaks between the recitals, and tea and supper will be served in the Hall. Admission is £12 for each session (£6 for young people), or £20 for the entire day. The organ really is the best for miles around, and it is nice to be able to demonstrate this to a wider public.

Last year’s event was a huge success, so we hope that many music lovers will come to support this year’s festival. Full details of the organists and their programmes are on www.barnabites.org/organfestival/ .
