Times: Saturday mornings at 9.45 – 10.30 during term times

1. Award Winners

On Saturday 2nd April the West London Ball Hockey Club gave out their awards at the end of the term. Winners were as follows:

· 6 and under’s – John Read- Smith (top player and top Goalie), Most Sportsmanlike Player – Nat Reid-Smith

· 9 and unders – Top Player-Finley Ashton; Most Sportsmanlike Player – Alister Rae

· 12 and unders - Top Player- Charlotte Killick; Most Sportsmanlike Player – William Ashton

2. Games Played on Saturday

· Senators vs Maple Leafs

o Final Score – 6 – 5 for Senators

o Goal Scorers for Senators – Alister Rae – 1, Kai Jemirifo – 3. Two own goals

o Goal Scorers for Maple Leafs – Noa Schinas –4, Tao Jemirifo – 1.

o Game Summary: Senators stormed out to a 6 – nil lead but the leafs fought back hard to close the gap. Player of the game was Noa Schinas

· Canucks vs Screaming Eagles

o Final Score –3 – 1 for Canucks

o Goal Scorers for Canucks – Finley Ashton – 2, plus one own goal

o Goal Scorers for Eagles – Jessica Rae

o Game Summary: Canucks played well on offence making good passes – particularly with Cullen Allain setting up Finley Ashton for two nice goals as Finley was in the right place at right time. This extended his lead in the goal scorer race to 12 (2 ahead of Noa Schinas). The eagles battled back hard and had a number of good chances in front of the net to tie up the game however the canucks had very strong goaltending by Shahan

In the under 6 game

The Oilers battled to a nil - nil draw with the Raiders. Shutouts by the goalies were earned as follows:

· Oilers – Dominic Rae, Ken Ahumuza

· Raiders – Matthew Everett and Qinuo Wang

3. Points and Goal Scoring Race

The overall scoring leader will be decided in the final game of the term on 9th April. Current results are as follows:
