Advance Notice : Windmill Road Closure

Roadworks at junction with Swyncombe Avenue

Prepare for some traffic confusion in the Northfields area next week as Windmill Road will be closed for roadworks.

Highway improvement works at the junction of Windmill Road and Swyncombe Avenue will take place on Tuesday 28th May 2013

Windmill Road will be closed to through traffic for three days. Diversions will be sign posted. Access to residents’ properties will be permitted but there may be short delays. Emergency access will not be affected.

Murrill Construction Ltd say they will aim to keep noise levels and disruption to a minimum.

They thank residents in advance for co-operation and apologise for any inconvenience that these works may cause.

NB: Ealing's Highways Officer is urging the contractor to open the junction from 4:30pm until 9:30am the following morning to ensure that the road keep open during rush hour.
