The University of West London (UWL) in Ealing hosted the BBC's flagship politics programme Question Time during one of the most tumultuous weeks in British politics.

Over 150 local residents were in the audience to see Fiona Bruce chair the panel in UWL’s Weston Hall.

Nearly three million people tuned in to see guests including James Cleverly MP and Clive Lewis MP debate the economy, foreign affairs and of course – Brexit.

During rehearsals, students from UWL had the opportunity to find out what goes into producing the show and to meet the presenter, Fiona Bruce.

Professor Peter John, Vice-Chancellor at UWL, said, “We are delighted to welcome the BBC to our campus and to be able to play our part in facilitating debate at this critical time. It was also a great opportunity to showcase our multi-functional auditorium on live television.”
