Group encourages links between Ealing and Marcq
Ealing’s town-twinning group, the Friends of Marcq-en-Baroeul, has appointed Sarah Kahan as President, following a review of the association’s committee roles. Sarah is well-known to members of the Friends of Marcq and their French counterparts, Les Amis d’Ealing. Sarah was the group’s Chair for some years and has undertaken a great deal of work for the twin organizations. The Friends of Marcq-en-Baroeul, Ealing’s official town twinning group, was started in 1987 to encourage links between Ealing and Marcq, a town adjacent to Lille in Northern France. This very active group organises a large variety of events. For more information see the group’s official website All communications regarding the association/town-twinning should in future be directed to Sarah on sarahkahan@gmail.com.
