An exciting new restaurant with a Caribbean flavour will be opening its first branch in London next month.

Turtle Bay has just 10 sites around the UK, and is bringing bring its colourful and vibrant style to Ealing.

The 175 cover will be located centrally in the Ealing Broadway Centre, and will create 60 jobs.

It will feature a large restaurant space, central island bar, and indoor ‘veranda’ style drinking spaces.

Food is at the heart of the Turtle Bay experience, the cuisine will offer 'a choice of bold flavours and rustic dishes'.

The menu includes ‘Cutters’ (inspired by Beach Shacks and Street Hawkers of the Caribbean Islands); the Jerk BBQ Pit, ‘One Pots’ (rich, slowly simmered and uniquely Caribbean) and Lunch and Light (a briefer encounter with the Caribbean). Signature dishes include Jerk Pit ribs, Turtle Bay Patties, Trini Doubles and Blue Mountain Curry Goat.

There is a large cocktail menu with a refreshing mix of contemporary and classics, specials include… Marley Mojito: Appleton Special rum, midori, fresh mint & watermelon, home-made ginger beer Tobago Tea: Rum, tequila, vodka, gin, triple sec, fresh lemon, mango & lemonade, Bahama Mama: Frozen blend of dark rum, blackberry and banana liqueur, grenadine and pineapple.

Expect a warm - and entertaining welcome at Turtle Bay. The team has been selected after an apparent rigorous ‘audition’ process – from psychometric tests to limbo dancing!

Ajith Jayawickrema, Turtle Bay Founder, commented:

“We can’t wait to throw the doors open to Ealing! Turtle Bay is about great food and good times, simple as that. It’s our first venture in the capital and we think this up and coming area will love what we have to offer – its a restaurant as vibrant as the community that we’re looking forward to serving.”
