A man's been hit by a train at Ealing.
A British Transport Police (BTP) spokesman said:

“Our officers were called to the line close to Ealing Broadway mainline station on Friday, 1 August, at around 3.20pm after a report a man had been struck by a train.

“Officers from BTP attended, alongside colleagues from London Ambulance Service and London Fire Brigade.

“A man was pronounced dead at the scene.

“The incident is being treated as non-suspicious, and officers are now working to identify the man.

“A file will be prepared for the coroner.”

The line between London Paddington and Slough has been closed.

First Great Western..the train operator .. says ticket acceptance has been authorised with London Underground, Chiltern, South West Trains, London Midland and Virgin to enable customers to circulate from Paddington on alternative routes.

Until lines reopen customers for Oxford are advised to travel via London Marylebone and customers for Reading via Waterloo on South West Trains services.

On twitter (16.44) Network Rail says: #EalingBroadway Some lines have reopened - please check @nationalrailenq for service info. Residual delays will occur.
