A man's been hit by a train at Ealing Broadway station this morning.

An eye witness told us it happened at 9.08 and she heard a scream as the fast FGW train to Paddington travelled through the station.

She said trains have been stopped and police and train workers are at the scene.

First Great Western have said:

''A person has been hit by a train at Ealing Broadway. All services through here are currently at a stop until further notice.''

A spokesperson from British Transport Police said:

"Our officers were called to Ealing Broadway station just after 9am on Wednesday, 7 January, after reports of a person being struck by a train.

"Colleagues from London Ambulance Service also attended and a man was pronounced dead at the scene. "Officers are now working to identify the man and inform his family.

"The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
