Major plans to redevelop the area between Ealing Broadway and the former Arcadia Centre will soon be revealed.

A large section (bordered in red) of the town centre was bought by property investors Benson Elliot at the end of 2012.

Some of the properties however are owned by individuals, residents and other commercial owners, and Ealing Council signalled that, if necessary, it would seek a compulsory purchase order to ensure the development of the whole site.

Benson Elliot were also behind the redevelopment of the former Arcadia Shopping Centre into 1-8 The Broadway. Store tenants, TK Maxx and McDonalds, have just been joined by Morrisons who opened their new shop on 19th January.

Benson Elliot has now appointed Londonewcastle as development managers for the regeneration of the next section - along with and architects Allies & Morrison.

Proposals currently include creating a new pedestrian route between the station and The Broadway lined with 'boutique shops and cafés', and around 200 homes.

Exhibitions on the new plans for 9-42 The Broadway, will take place in 7a The Broadway at the following dates and times:

- Thursday January 29 from 4pm- 8pm

- Friday January 30 from 4pm- 8pm

- Saturday January 31 from 10am- 4pm.

A planning application will be submitted in spring.
