|New Lifestyle Magazine to Be Launched in Ealing|
Hopes to encourage more visitors to the town centre
A new magazine promoting Ealing to people outside the borough will be launched next week.
‘The Line’, published by Make it Ealing - part of the town's Business Improvement District (BID) - will feature fashion, travel, people, food and beauty.
It aims to highlight Ealing as a vibrant, creative place alive with music, arts, sport, culture and retail and encourage more visitors to the town centre.
Make it Ealing say it will not only draw new and increased footfall but highlight Ealing on the London map and encourage greater conversation about the town centre.
The magazine will showcase local business and highlight Ealing’s strength of independents - such as coffee retailers, gift and craft shops and art stores.
The first edition focuses on health and fitness with a feature on the Ealing Half Marathon, a race voted the ‘Number 1 Half Marathon in the UK’ award at both the 2014 and 2015 Running Awards, plus first place for the race with the best atmosphere in 2013 from Runner’s World UK. Other features include; Travel inspiration, the Ealing Style List and the Ealing Angle.
With a distribution of 50,000 copies locally and in neighbouring areas, Make it Ealing want to encourage people to see Ealing in a new light.
The magazine will be free and will be found from Wednesday (9th September) at tube stations including; Hammersmith, Gunnersbury, Chiswick Park, Ealing Broadway, Ealing Common and Richmond.
