Steve Pound and Hanwell Tea Towel

An Ealing man is selling specially themed tea towels to raise funds for two local charities.

Ealing Soup Kitchen and Ealing Food Bank stand to benefit from £2000 if Paul Jones can sell all his specially commissioned Hanwell designs.

He got the idea on a trip to Liverpool and thought W7 would be the perfect place to replicate.

The bright tea towels have many local images and activities featuring events like the Hootie and Carnival, the Clocktower Library and Community Centre where Charlie Chaplin can be spotted too.

He has managed to sell most of the tea towels online and others have been sold with the help of his son at local Christmas fairs, he is now hoping to sell the last 100 before Christmas.
