Historic footage has emerged from safety training video made by Hanwell man

Hanwell filmmaker Steve Haskett has found some historic footage of one of his more unusual days at work, and told Ealing Today, '' When I was shooting a tank safety training video some 20 years ago, the tank I was filming ran over my vehicle!

'' This was take 2 and on the first run the tank stopped where it should have stopped but unfortunately this time he went way too far.

''This footage has just come to light of the incident - It's not every day you film your vehicle being destroyed by a tank

"They admitted liability and paid up. I can laugh now but there was often a member of production sitting in the car making arrangements for future filming. Thank heavens there was no one in it this time.''
