Where in The Borough?

Not a country idyll - these stunning photos were taken in Ealing!

Hard to believe that these striking photos were taken so very close by.

They've been sent in by David Harvey who says :

'' If you saw these pictures in the paper you would you expect it to be in the fields of Kent or in the West Country but no it is here in North Greenford on Horsenden Hill!''

The field where the sunflowers are is Horsenden West ''The 9 Acres'' and it is surrounded by hedges with one viewpoint that is marked with a small purple eye.

David has helpfully given directions to find:

To get there on foot -go to West Way Cross shopping centre, go under the foot bridge to Paradise Fields follow the track, go over the canal bridge and turn right.
From Horsenden Lane North - go over the canal bridge (going north) and walk past the industrial units and houses.
You will see an Ealing sign marked Horsenden West on the left, enter at this point (near the end of Batts Field) and follow the grass trail as the map.
