This is just one of trees that was felled (in Hanwell) as a result of Storm Katie in Ealing on Sunday night and Monday (28th March) morning.

Traditional Bank Holiday attractions like Chiswick House and Kew Gardens were shut during the day because of the high winds.

Throughout the borough there have been over twenty reports of tree damage -but fortunately no reported injuries.

An Ealing Council spokesperson said:

"We have responded to 23 reports of tree damage since the early hours of Monday morning. Contractors have visited the sites and prioritised the removal of trees blocking roads or any viewed as being a risk to the public. We are asking people to be vigilant and report any damaged trees to us on 020 8825 5000."
