Part of a residential street in Hanwell was sealed off this morning and police forensics called to the scene after a man was attacked last night.

Witnesses reported seeing a man badly injured near the Clocktower.

Police say they were called at around 6.45pm (Tuesday, 5 November) to reports of a man assaulted on Uxbridge Road, Ealing. Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended and found a man with head injuries.

He was taken to hospital where his injuries were declared not life threatening or life changing.

They say no arrests have been made as yet and enquiries are continuing.
