Further Arrests in Northolt Murder Investigation

Detectives investigating the murder of Jason Isaacs in Northolt have made two further arrests.

An 18-year-old man and a 16-year-old male were arrested at their home addresses in Watford and north-west London respectively on Tuesday, 12 December, on suspicion of murder.

The 18 year old has since been released under investigation. whilst the 16 year old remains in custody in a north London police station.

A 17-year-old has been charged and due to appear at the Old Bailey on 20 February 2018 for a Pre-Trial Preparation Hearing, with a provisional trial date set for 30 April 2018.

Searches at the addresses in north-west London and Watford are ongoing.

Police had been called just before 22:30hrs on Saturday, 18 November to Newnham Close, Northolt to reports of a male stabbed. On arrival, police and London Ambulance Service [LAS] found Jason suffering from multiple stab wounds.

He was taken to a London hospital where he remained critical for some time before he sadly died on Tuesday, 21 November.

The Met's Homicide and Crime Command are leading the investigation. A Metropolitan Police reward of up to £20,000 reward for information that leads to the identification, arrest and prosecution of those responsible for killing Jason Isaacs is still being offered.

Detective Chief Inspector Noel McHugh leading the investigation said: "It has been three weeks since Jason was attacked and killed. We have charged one male and made two further arrests, but we continue to appeal for anyone who witnessed the attack, or anyone with information to come forward.

"Our suspects are four people riding on two mopeds. At least one of them was not wearing a crash helmet. Did you see them before, after or during the incident? Can you name any of them?

"Your information, even if provided anonymously through Crimestoppers, could help remove violent criminals from your area or may eliminate someone from police enquiries. No matter how small, please make the call."

He was taken to a London hospital in a remained in critical condition. He sadly died on Tuesday, 21 November. A post mortem examination conducted on Friday, 24 November found the cause of death to be a stab wound.

DCI McHugh added: "I know that there are people who know who the suspects are and it is vital that we hear from those people without delay. A young man has lost his life. your information will make a huge difference and get justice for Jason's family and help us remove these dangerous individuals from your community.

"We are keen to find out where these offenders were before and after the murder - there may be other victims of these four mopeds criminals, and you may not have reported the crime. Your information could be so important to our case."

Jason's Mother said: "Our amazing, beautiful Jason went out with friends for a night out and a few drinks. He should have come home to his loving family. Instead he was brutally attacked, he never stood a chance.

"Our lives are in pieces. Every little piece of information is really important. For Jason, make that call, thank you."
