Fight On South Ealing Road Leaves Two Injured

Large parts of shopping area cordoned off after trouble broke out

Large parts of South Ealing Road were cordoned off last Tuesday night (17 July) after trouble broke out.

Six police cars and an ambulance attended the scene, not far from South Ealing tube station.

Witnesses report seeing an injured man with a makeshift bloodied bandage round his head, others saw men in handcuffs and a broken snooker cue.

Police say they were called at approximately 8.10pm on Monday, 16 July to reports of a fight in South Ealing Road. Officers and London Ambulance Service attended the scene.

Two men, aged in theirs 40s and 50s, were taken to hospital for treatment to facial injuries - these are not serious.

Two other men, aged 22 and 37, were arrested at the scene on suspicion of GBH. They remain in police custody.

Enquiries into the circumstances remain ongoing.
