Network Rail and their contractors are undertaking in the coming months, including Easter and the early May Bank Holiday, in the Southall area. Much of this work must take place at night and at weekends when the trains are not running.

Mobile screens/barriers or enclosures will be placed around the breaking equipment and other noisy hand-held tools, where practical to do so.

Crossrail works at Southall will provide a new station building and forecourt as well as new lifts giving step free access from street level to all platforms.

There will be an increase in the amount of work taking place over Easter and the early May Bank Holiday. They will be working 24 hours a day during these periods and therefore residents may experience higher levels of disruption during this time.

They will be extending platforms which includes some demolition work and installing mechanical, electrical, communication and security systems on all platforms. Traffic may be congested at times on Park Avenue due to machinery and materials being delivered to site. At various times until December 2017 minor works such as deliveries, drainage, mechanical, electrical, communication and security installations and site surveys will take place at Southall station.
