A man's been stabbed during a fight in Southall.

On Thursday, 18 September at around 2.30pm police were called the Post Office in Hunt Road. They were told by a member of the public that a group of youths had been fighting in the street.

Police were then made aware of a 19-year-old nearby who was suffering from non-life threatening stab wounds to his right shoulder, arm and leg.

Officers administered first aid to the victim prior to the arrival of the London Ambulance Service who conveyed him to a west London hospital for treatment.

Acting Detective Sergeant Mark Hunt, CID at Acton, said:

“I am appealing for any witnesses to this incident to contact me. This fight was in broad daylight so I am confident someone will have vital information to aid my investigation.
Police in Ealing will not tolerate such violence on our streets, so I urge people with information to do their public duty; pick up the phone and help us to make your streets safer.”

Anyone with information is asked to call Ealing CID on 101 quoting 2523131/14. Alternatively contact Crmestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
