The results of a year long film project looking at Southall's rich and colourful history wil be shown at a free event at the BFI this Friday (4 May).

MADE: Make A Difference Entertainment, is a film-making charity awarded heritage lottery funding which meant they could support young Londoners aged 16-25 to produce multimedia content exploring the relationship of Southall’s South Asian migrant community and the evolution of film consumption.

They will be hosting a celebratory afternoon and screening works relating to the South Asian community Friday from 3.30pm - 7pm at BFI Southbank.
