Eyebrows have been raised over techniques employed by developers hoping to shift new flats in West Ealing.

Southern Grove initially bought the former BHS store on The Broadway and then sold it on to Thames Valley who, under the name So Resi, have been developing the building into a complex of more than 130 one and two bedroom shared ownership flats with a 25% share available for purchase from £105,000.

The literature describes the apartments as: '' Located on the vibrant Ealing Broadway...'' however the block is situated on The Broadway in W13 which local estate agents say is very misleading.

One agent who doesn't wish to be named said ''it is literally in the heart of West Ealing - they are blatantly trying to pull the wool over the eyes of potential buyers.''

A spokesperson from So Resi defended their marketing description saying, ''The road which our site is located on site is called Broadway, West Ealing. In Ealing Broadway there is also a road called The Broadway, so I can understand where there may be some confusion.''
