An Ealing man is hoping to secure funding  from the public to create a brand new comedy series based on tennis.

Ben Galpin trained at the Drama Studio in Ealing Broadway and will be writing and starring in the new show called No Point starring James Holmes from Miranda.

He says:

'' In an age of austerity where funding for the arts is scarce, we are putting the future of the pilot in the hands of the public. We’ve launched the campaign on Kickstarter, the popular crowd funding website, and need to raise the full £2,000 of funding by Monday 23rd September at
2pm or we don’t get to keep a penny.''

The documentary-style series has been created by Ben Hogan, and developed through
improvisation and collaboration between the cast and creator, over a period of several months.
Alongside James Holmes, the cast includes newcomers Barnaby Brookman and Ben Galpin.
Ben Hogan was born in Douglas on the Isle of Man and grew up in Surrey. As a junior Ben
played tennis competitively at Walton Tennis Club taking part in regional tournaments and at
one point represented the Isle of Man.
