Absconder from mental health unit missing without his medication
Police are reiterating their appeals for a man missing for over two weeks who they say may be a danger to himself and others. Orlando Silva, 42, absconded on Wednesday, 6 January from a facility in Uxbridge Road, Southall, where he was detained under the Mental Health Act. He is described as a Portuguese national, 5ft 6ins of medium build with short light brown hair and a light brown moustache and goatee beard. He was last seen wearing army-style khaki trousers with side pockets, a black jacket and black trainers. Mr Silva suffers from schizophrenia and with no access to medication may be a danger to himself and others. Anyone who sees him should not approach him but call police on 999 in an emergency or 101.
