Another Arrest Over Northolt Stabbing

Detectives investigating the 2011 murder of a man who was stabbed in Northolt have made an arrest.

In the early hours of Monday, 10 October officers from Thames Valley arrested a 25-year-old man on behalf of the Metropolitan Police Service, in connection with the murder of Adeniyi Lateef Shode (known as Aden or Enda) in Northolt in 2011.

The man was bailed pending further enquires to a date in late November.

Detectives continue to investigating the murder after Adeniyi, was discovered collapsed close to the junction of Rowdell Road, Ealing Road, and Kensington Road, at approximately 20:50hrs on 2 May 2011. Adeniyi had been stabbed and died in hospital later that night.

Enquires into his murder continue.

Two men and two women were arrested in May 2011 and subsequently released with no further action.

On Wednesday, 8 June, a 25-year-old man surrendered to a north London police station and was arrested for conspiracy to murder. A 27-year-old woman was further arrested for conspiracy to murder at an address in Watford. They have both been bailed to a date in mid-November.

In May this year, a man now 24 and a man now aged 25 were arrested on suspicion of murder at addresses in north London. Both have been bailed pending further enquiries to a date in mid-November.

A reward of up to £20,000 remains available for information leading to the identification, arrest and prosecution of the person or persons responsible for the murder.
