Police are appealing for witnesses after a three year old boy died in a fatal collision in Northolt

Police were called at 12.20hrs on Monday 15 July to Kingshill Avenue, Northolt, to reports of a road traffic collision involving a flatbed recovery vehicle and a young child.

London Ambulance and London's Air Ambulance were called to the scene.

The three year old boy has been named as Mohammed Mohammed.

He was taken to a west London hospital in a critical condition but later died from his injuries.

A post mortem examination was held this morning, (Tuesday, 16 July), at Uxbridge Mortuary, the cause of death was given as a head injury.

An inquest will open and adjourn today at West London Coroner's Court.

There have no arrests at this stage.

Officers from the Road Death Investigation Unit at Northolt is investigating.
