Elderly Pedestrian Knocked Down in Ealing

Accident happened at rush hour this morning on The Mall

An elderly man's been hurt after an accident not far from Ealing Broadway station this morning.

Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 09:18hrs on Tuesday, 18 April to a road traffic collision in The Mall, W5.

The road was closed whilst officers attended and found a car in collision with a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, aged in his 80s, has been taken to a central London hospital.

His injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene. No arrests have been made.
